Crits and Tricks Card Game

Crits and Tricks is a quest-based trick-taking card game that mixes fantasy adventuring with polyhedral dice.

Players draft quests, pair rolled dice with mercenary classes and try to complete objectives for loot. Each class changes the win condition of a trick and can trigger a CRIT ability, so the same dice value can become useful in different ways depending on the class in play.

The design gives trick-taking players a fantasy twist: instead of only following suit or chasing high cards, players need to read the quest objective, the class power and the dice result together.
