Altay - Dawn of Civilization is a deck-building civilization game, set in a mythic age. In a secluded region within a vast continent, four mysterious societies have cultivated distinct cultures over countless years, maintaining a fragile balance. They now confront a new challenge: the influx of human settlers with advanced crafts and weapons. As the leader of one of Altay’s Elder Peoples, you have the choice how to react to this challenge.

Lead one of four Elder Peoples through a changing mythical age in Altay Dawn of Civilization. Human settlers have arrived with unfamiliar crafts and weapons, forcing each civilisation to decide whether to preserve its ancient traditions or adopt useful ideas from the newcomers.

Every faction begins with a distinct deck containing its own balance of basic and faction specific cards. Cards generate resources that can be used to establish settlements, expand into new territories, develop knowledge, construct monuments, challenge opponents or acquire stronger cards for future turns.

The shared map contains several terrain types and resource opportunities, making expansion a physical contest as well as a deck building challenge. Players can pursue cultural development, territorial power and technological progress while responding to the different strengths of the Elvenfolk, Earthfolk, Smallfolk and Firefolk.
