Lead a spacefaring society through a struggle for power in Arcs. Set in a darkly comic science fiction universe, this standalone strategy game challenges players to seize initiative, commit to public ambitions and use a limited hand of multi use cards to shape each chapter of an unpredictable galactic conflict.
The lead card sets the tone of a round, but rivals can follow its action, copy it with reduced flexibility or pivot to another suit. Players may also surpass the lead to take initiative for the next round, creating a tense contest over timing in which even a modest hand can be useful when played with a clear plan.
Ambitions determine what will score, so the priorities of the game can change as players compete for military success, resources, captives and influence. Movement and one roll battles keep the action direct, while a six panel map, a large wooden fleet and striking card art give each contest a distinctive sense of scale.
