War of the Ring Kings of Middle Earth Board Game Expansion

Bring the rulers of the Free Peoples into the struggle against the Shadow with War of the Ring Kings of Middle Earth. This expansion gives the sovereigns of Middle Earth a more active role in the political and military conflict, allowing their choices to influence the course of the War of the Ring.

The Free Peoples can awaken and guide sovereigns including Brand, Dain Ironfoot, Denethor, Theoden and Thranduil. The Shadow player can instead attempt to corrupt these rulers by using the included Sovereign Rings and corruption board, creating new pressure around important nations and strongholds.

Three Dark Chieftains join the Shadow hosts: the Black Serpent, the Shadow of Mirkwood and Ugluk. New figures, cards and special Action dice support these systems. The expansion can be added directly to the Second Edition base game or combined with Lords of Middle Earth and Warriors of Middle Earth.

This is an expansion and not a standalone game. War of the Ring Second Edition is required to play.
