War of the Ring The Card Game

Recreate the struggle between Sauron and the Free Peoples in War of the Ring The Card Game. Inspired by the acclaimed board game and the world of The Lord of the Rings, this standalone card game brings the conflict for Middle earth to the table with faster play and focused team strategy.

Up to four players divide into two teams, with each participant using a distinct deck that represents the strengths and weaknesses of a faction. Characters, armies, items and events can support or hinder the Fellowship on its path, while other cards are committed to the strongholds and battlegrounds that become active during the war.

Success depends on coordinating cards with your teammate and deciding where each resource will matter most. More than one hundred original illustrations bring the journey from the Shire to Mordor to life, including landscapes by John and Fataneh Howe. This is a complete standalone card game and does not require the War of the Ring board game.
