Dewan is a fast-paced, competitive area-placement game for 2-4 players that features racing, placement, and hand strategy. During play, you collect terrain cards and spend them to strategically place your camps on the territory. Make the best use of terrain and resources so that you can satisfy the requirements on your story tiles. Along the way, gather berries and master fire to earn additional points.
Guide a migrating tribe across a land of scarce territory and valuable resources in Dewan. Collect adjacent terrain cards from the shared display or spend cards matching the spaces you cross to establish a camp before another tribe claims the location.
Camp placement helps fulfil personal Story tiles, while berries and control of fire provide further routes to victory. Four scenarios alter the layout and scoring conditions, including erupting volcanoes, heavy rain and lake villages, while a dedicated team mode supports coordinated two against two play.
