Each cult provides its organisation, history, nature and relationships alongside the skills, passions, spirit magic and Rune magic available to its worshippers. Character rules support advancement into roles such as God-talker, Rune Priestess or Sun Lord.
A history and genealogy of the solar pantheon and an encyclopaedia of Gloranthan celestiology give the material wider setting context. The one-hundred-forty-eight-page full-colour hardcover can be used with the RuneQuest core rules alone or combined with other Cults of RuneQuest volumes.
This sourcebook requires the RuneQuest core rules. Dice, character sheets and other core play materials are not included.
