Eight alternative Weird Moves broaden the ways hunters interact with the uncanny, and four new playbooks add the Gumshoe, Hex, Searcher and Pararomantic. Guidance for phenomena mysteries supports stories closer to Fringe or The X-Files than a conventional monster hunt.
Twenty-nine complete mysteries can be placed directly into a campaign, while essays and practical techniques help Keepers design their own. The two-hundred-seventy-six-page black-and-white hardcover includes the associated PDF when purchased directly from the publisher.
This expansion requires the Monster of the Week roleplaying game. The core rules, dice and other play materials are not included.
