Command a rival daimyo in General Orders Sengoku Jidai, a compact two player strategy game set during Japan’s 16th century Warring States period. Deploy commanders to key locations, advance troops and protect the supply lines connecting your forces to headquarters.
The double sided board provides two battlefields with different tactical challenges. Ships open routes across strategic waterways, while siege weapons help break through fortified positions and threaten defended strongholds.
After four rounds, victory goes to the player controlling the most valuable areas. A battle can end earlier if one daimyo drives the opposing army out of its headquarters. This is a standalone game and does not require General Orders World War II.
- Commander placement controls actions: Assign limited commanders to locations that recruit troops, move forces, reinforce supply lines or activate special operations
- Supply lines sustain advances: Units operating beyond secure connections become vulnerable, making route protection central to every offensive
- Ships contest waterways: Naval pieces move through river and coastal routes that are unavailable to normal land troops
- Siege weapons threaten forts: Deploy specialised units to overcome defended locations and create pressure around enemy strongholds
- Two battle maps change priorities: The double sided board provides separate terrain layouts with different routes, forts and waterways
- Headquarters offers sudden victory: Forcing all enemy pieces out of their headquarters ends the battle immediately
