Crossroads gives players an alternative action at many locations along the route. Visit luxurious bathhouses, admire cherry trees, collect amulets and calligraphy, acquire legendary objects or test your luck in secret gambling rooms.
Matsuri introduces festivals that are triggered when Travellers reach intermediate Inns, temporarily changing the journey for everyone. Twenty five additional Traveller tiles provide further character abilities and new ways to experience the road between Kyoto and Edo. The Tokaido base game is required to play.
