This competitive strategic game for two players retains the purity and elegance of the original Azul while adding an extra tactical dimension in which you determine the pattern in which tiles will be placed, in addition to drafting tiles to complete that pattern.

Compete to decorate the ceiling of the Palace of Sintra in Azul Duel, a standalone strategy game created specifically for two players. Draft coloured tiles, complete pattern lines and place finished designs onto your developing dome over five rounds.

Unlike the original Azul, players also select and position Dome Plates that determine where tiles can later be installed. Factory tiles can be taken from the sun side or stacked on the moon side, creating new opportunities to control which colours become available to your opponent.

Variable Scoring Tablets set different end game objectives, while Bonus Chips can complete partially filled pattern lines when the required tiles are unavailable.

• Build your own tile pattern: Select and rotate Dome Plates to determine the colour spaces available on your ceiling
• Factories have two drafting areas: Take matching tiles from the sun side or collect exposed tiles from stacks on the moon side
• Bonus Chips complete pattern lines: Exchange matching pairs or any three chips for a missing tile during the scoring phase
• Special Plates unlock extra scoring: Complete all three coloured spaces to add a Special Tile and score the value of its row
• Variable final objectives: Choose three or four double sided Scoring Tablets to reward different dome layouts
• Five round duel: Both players complete the same number of rounds before final scoring determines the winner
