Move your vineyard from Tuscany to Bordeaux with an alternative double sided game board that reshapes the flow of Viticulture. The expansion introduces four complete worker placement seasons, giving players meaningful actions throughout spring, summer, autumn and winter.
A revised wake up chart provides immediate benefits, while the new Expert action lets each player permanently improve one worker placement space for their own vineyard. Face up vine and wine order markets also reduce blind card draws by allowing players to select from visible options.
Bordeaux adds a trade market and new end game conversions for leftover grapes, wine and coins. It requires the Viticulture core game and is compatible with most modules from other expansions.
Four active seasons: Workers can now be placed during spring and autumn as well as the familiar summer and winter rounds
Permanent Expert upgrades: Place an Expert cube to improve one action space for yourself for the remainder of the game
Visible card markets: Choose from face up Vine and Wine Order Cards instead of relying entirely on random draws
Revised wake up benefits: Turn order choices provide a new range of bonuses at the beginning of each year
End game resource conversion: Remaining grapes, wine and coins can be converted into victory points after the final year
Replaces the original board: The reverse side contains the standard Viticulture board, allowing Bordeaux to occupy the same storage space
