Call to Adventure Board Game

Create a fantasy hero whose life is worth remembering in Call to Adventure. Starting with an Origin, a Motivation and a hidden Destiny, every player builds a character one chapter at a time and watches a personal story grow across three acts.

On a turn, you can claim a Trait that fits your developing hero or attempt one of the available Challenges. Challenges offer two possible paths, and your choice affects the rewards and story symbols you gain. Instead of ordinary dice, engraved runes are cast to decide whether the attempt succeeds, with acquired abilities improving your chances.

Hero and Antihero cards let you help, interfere or lean towards virtue and corruption as the story unfolds. At the end, visible Triumph, Tragedy, Experience and Story Icons combine with the hidden Destiny to determine the winner. Solo and cooperative rules are also included for confronting an Adversary together.
