In Dawn of Humankind, you will guide one branch of the human family to gather resources, migrate, and settle in new areas, all while advancing their technology and culture. The player who is best able to grow and develop their thriving civilization wins!

Guide one branch of the human family as it leaves Africa and settles across the prehistoric world in CATAN Dawn of Humankind. Players gather resources, establish camps and move along migration routes towards distant regions.

Exploration markers reward players for reaching new areas, while progress tracks represent developing skills and knowledge. Choosing which technologies and abilities to improve can make movement easier, provide useful benefits and support expansion into more demanding territory.

Competing groups may follow similar routes, creating pressure around valuable locations and limited opportunities. Success depends on balancing migration, exploration, technological progress and the placement of camps across the world map.

This is a complete standalone game and does not require the CATAN base game.
