Lead a strange alien civilisation and compete for control of the galaxy in Cosmic Encounter. Each player begins with a home system, a fleet of ships and a unique alien power capable of changing how the normal rules work.

Every encounter presents a choice between negotiation and open conflict. Players can invite allies to support either side, make temporary agreements or turn against one another when a better opportunity appears. Establishing five colonies outside your home system secures victory, but more than one player can potentially win together.

The included alien sheets create dramatically different combinations of powers and strategies from one game to the next. With alliances constantly shifting and unexpected cards influencing each confrontation, a seemingly secure position can change in a single encounter.
