Build a fortress and knock your rival’s defences apart in Crossbows and Catapults Fortress War. Two players command opposing dwarf and goblin armies, constructing castle walls before launching physical projectiles across the table with working crossbows and catapults.
On each turn, players manoeuvre troops, reinforce their position or fire at enemy figures and structures. Tactics cards and special ammunition add unexpected options, while careful aim can open a wall, topple a defender or expose the treasure hidden inside the opposing stronghold.
The modern design captures the hands on excitement of the original 1983 game with re-engineered launchers and a more structured battle system. Quick setup, dramatic impacts and castles that can be rebuilt in different shapes make every fortress war easy to replay.
