Dominion Renaissance Board Game by Rio Grande

The original deckbuilding game enters a new, enlightened era with 300 new cards including Projects that grant abilities and Artifacts to covet!

Enter a new golden age of art science and investment with Dominion Renaissance. This twelfth expansion introduces twenty five Kingdom card piles alongside Projects, Artifacts and systems for storing coins and actions, giving players more control over resources that would otherwise disappear at the end of a turn.

Coffers hold Coin tokens that may be converted into money during a later Buy phase, while Villagers store extra Actions for a future Action phase. Players can spend a Buy to place a cube on a Project, gaining its continuing ability for the remainder of the game. These persistent benefits reward long term planning beyond the cards inside the deck.

Artifacts are unique abilities that can move between players when the associated Kingdom cards are used. Only the current holder receives the benefit, creating direct competition over the Flag, Key, Horn, Lantern and Treasure Chest. The expansion also includes Duration cards and can be mixed with other Dominion sets.

This is an expansion and not a standalone game. Dominion or the Dominion Base Cards and a Dominion rulebook are required to play.
