Every forest dweller card is divided into two halves. Choose which species to play and slide the unused half beneath a tree, making hand management and placement central to building an efficient forest.

Cards score through specific ecological relationships. Some animals need matching species, particular tree types or suitable food sources, while others provide bonus actions that help extend a turn and develop stronger combinations.

• Split forest dweller cards: Choose one of two species and tuck the unused half beneath the appropriate side of a tree
• Species have habitat requirements: Animals and plants score according to particular trees, food sources and neighbouring species
