Triple sided ship boards provide unfamiliar construction layouts, while 52 additional components introduce new technologies for protecting cargo, supporting astronauts and keeping damaged ships operational. Cyan aliens can also join the crew, each providing a specialised ability when connected to the right life support system.

Rough Roads Cards impose temporary rules that affect ship construction or the following flight, while new Adventure Cards add further hazards and opportunities. The relaunched edition of Galaxy Trucker is required to play.
