Welcome guests and transform a modest Viennese cafe into the Grand Austria Hotel. Players prepare rooms, serve food and drinks, hire staff and compete for imperial favour while trying to create the most successful hotel in the city at the beginning of the twentieth century.

At the start of each round, dice are rolled and sorted by value across six action spaces. Choosing an action removes one die from its space, so its strength depends on how many matching dice remain and every selection changes the opportunities available to the hoteliers who follow.

Guests first visit the cafe and must receive the correct refreshments before moving into prepared rooms. Completing their stay earns points and useful bonus actions, while staff cards, emperor scoring and a limited seven round schedule reward careful planning and the ability to adapt to the cards and dice available.
