As the fishing spots fill up, you will need to choose your bears carefully, triggering unique abilities that will allow you to take advantage of situations and outwit your hungry opponent. Compete for the most productive fishing spots along Alaska’s Brooks River in Katmai The Bears of Brooks River. Each player controls a group of hungry brown bears, placing bear cards beside the river to establish dominance, complete objectives and catch enough salmon for winter.

Every bear has its own strength and ability, so the order in which they enter the river can change control of a fishing spot. When all bears have been played, the stronger group claims the available space and places a wooden bear there.

Fishing positions become increasingly limited over successive rounds. Players must coordinate their occupied spaces with objective cards to earn salmon and finish the season with the best fed group of bears.
