Add monumental projects to a compatible Mega Empires game with The Special Buildings expansion from Ares Games. Civilisations can construct distinctive buildings for in-game benefits and additional victory points, creating new priorities alongside trade, development and diplomacy.

Eighteen unique building miniatures give each structure a physical presence on the table. A dedicated Special Buildings board and rulesheet explain the added system, while two fitted plastic trays organise and protect the miniatures between sessions.

The expansion works with either Mega Empires The West or Mega Empires The East, allowing the same building rules to enrich different campaign maps. Special buildings can be lost to calamities or taken by rivals, adding risk to the pursuit of their rewards.

This is an expansion and is not a standalone game. A copy of Mega Empires The West or Mega Empires The East is required to play. Base-game components are not included.
