Each chapter combines tactical movement and dice based combat with a storybook that introduces new rooms, objectives and memorable encounters. Search cards provide weapons, armour and useful items, while individual abilities allow every mouse to contribute a distinct strength to the group.
Cheese collected from dice rolls powers special abilities, but it can also advance the minion wheel and bring fresh enemies into play.
