Munchkin Shadowrun is packed with 193 cards full of cyberpunk and magic. In addition to all the great Door and Treasure cards you expect in Munchkin, this set introduces the Matrix, a series of cards with additional gameplay goals that can be used to win the game in a whole new way!

Mix cyberpunk runners, fantasy magic and ruthless treasure hunting in Munchkin Shadowrun. Players become Elves, Dwarves, Orks or Trolls navigating a world of corporations, monsters and dangerous jobs. The familiar Munchkin structure remains: kick open Doors, fight enemies, collect powerful gear and interfere whenever another runner gets too close to winning.

Door and Treasure cards fill the game with Shadowrun creatures, equipment and jokes, while the player cards help track each runner's progress. Temporary alliances can overcome a difficult monster, but rewards invite negotiation and betrayal. Curses, combat modifiers and hostile cards give rivals plenty of opportunities to derail a successful run or claim an advantage for themselves.

This core set introduces the Matrix through ten double sided cards. Matrix objectives create an additional route towards victory, forcing players to watch both conventional Level progress and the digital contest developing alongside it. The complete standalone set contains 193 cards and requires no other Munchkin game, while retaining the competitive negotiation and take that interaction associated with the series.
