Return to the stone age in a new cooperative adventure! Paleo is a survival strategy game for 2–4 players, who form a tribe of people working together to explore their surroundings and undertake the ultimate paleolithic quest: completing a cave painting.

Move beyond day-to-day survival and guide a thriving prehistoric settlement in Paleo A New Beginning. Thousands of years have passed since the tribe first struggled against the wilderness, and agriculture, animal taming and permanent homes now offer new ways to shape its future. The progress is fragile, however, as fresh dangers threaten everything the community has built.

This expansion adds 171 cards and a farm board, extending Paleo with new modules, challenges and development paths. Players can master useful tools, construct huts and work with domesticated animals while continuing the cooperative card-driven exploration of the original game. The added systems create a later chapter of human history without abandoning the uncertainty and shared decision-making at the heart of Paleo.

Every player contributes to the same tribe, weighing immediate needs against longer-term improvements across a roughly sixty-minute session. The hut, wooden pieces and cardboard tokens support the new settlement systems, while the rulebook explains how the expansion integrates with the base game for groups of two to four players.

This is an expansion and not a standalone game. A copy of Paleo is required to play.
