In this game, you will embark on a quest to build and shape your own city-state, compete against formidable adversaries, and navigate the intricacies of ancient Greek society.

Lead an ancient Greek city state towards greatness in Pillars of Heracles. Players explore and settle lands around the Aegean and Mediterranean Seas, construct cities and monuments and compete for influence while the gods and heroes of Greek mythology shape the struggle.

A multi use card deck drives movement around an action rondel and also provides resources for recruitment and construction. Hoplites, ships and workers extend a city states reach, while technology tracks, tactic tiles, prophecies and control of regions create several connected routes to victory.

The box supports competitive play, a dedicated solo challenge and a wide selection of modular options. Gods, barbarians, skirmishes and Atlantis can be added to change the character of the contest, alongside the Siege of Destiny team scenario and different map sides for the Mediterranean and Aegean.
