Reforest Old Growth Standalone Board Game

Reforest: Old Growth expands the original game with a new set of plants and animal visitors along with old growth trees, parasitic plants and terrain modules to alter the game. It can be combined with Reforest: Plants of the Pacific Northwest Coast or played as a standalone game.

Grow a layered forest filled with mature trees, specialised plants and visiting wildlife in Reforest Old Growth. This standalone tableau building game asks players to create a healthy ecosystem by combining plant traits and abilities, then attract animal visitors whose needs match the developing habitat.

Old growth trees change the way a tableau develops by covering effects and later regenerating stored plants. Parasitic plants can enter the forest freely but must feed on plants already in play, while terrain cards provide benefits to particular elevation rows and encourage more deliberate placement.

The game ends after all visitors have found a home, and players score both the plants in their forest and the animals they have welcomed. Reforest Old Growth can be played by itself or combined with Reforest Plants of the Pacific Northwest Coast, and its larger storage box has extra room for other releases in the series.
