Risk GI Joe Special Missions Board Game

RISK G. I. Joe Special Missions takes the familiar RISK environment in a new direction, with a focus on achieving multiple objectives rather than global domination. Many typical RISK strategies may be less successful in this version. In this game, scenario and objective cards guide player strategy. There are multiple unit types with variable movement, initiative, and battle bonuses. Units removed in battle are only temporarily lost, as they will cycle back into action. The action cards – a system introduced in previous RISK games – create new avenues for moving and gaining units that are not present in the traditional game.

Join GI Joe or Cobra and fight for control of vital objectives in Risk GI Joe Special Missions. Players divide between the two factions and attempt to complete missions or advance plots during a three round global conflict.

Five master scenarios change the conditions surrounding each battle and direct attention towards different hotspots. Scenario and objective cards guide each sides priorities, creating a more focused conflict than the traditional contest for complete global domination.

Different unit types have their own movement, initiative and battle bonuses, while faction leaders contribute special abilities. Units defeated in battle can return to action later, allowing both sides to recover and continue pursuing the objective points needed for victory.
