Lead a secret coven through the superstitious town of Noctenburg in Septima. The High Witch is preparing to name a successor, and each player must demonstrate their wisdom by gathering ingredients, brewing potions, performing rituals and helping the townspeople.
Every round, players secretly select one of nine action cards. Choosing the same action as another coven strengthens its effect, creating opportunities for cooperation, but visible displays of magic also raise suspicion and attract the Witch Hunters. Players must judge when shared power is worth the increased danger.
Trials provide opportunities to rescue accused witches and recruit them into your coven. Each new witch brings a different ability, giving you more ways to develop your strategy across the games four seasons. The retail edition also contains the Black Widow solo mode for games against an automated opponent.
