Spirit Island Board Game

Defend a living island from colonising invaders in Spirit Island. Each player controls a powerful spirit of the land with its own presence, growth options and elemental powers, working alongside the native Dahan to drive settlers back into the sea.

Invaders explore new regions, build towns and cities, then ravage the land according to a predictable but dangerous sequence. Spirits spread their presence, gain energy and combine slow and fast powers, allowing the group to plan around threats and create devastating elemental effects.

Fear weakens the invaders and changes the conditions required for victory, while blight can permanently damage the island if attacks are not contained. Highly asymmetric spirits, modular boards, adversaries and scenarios create a deep cooperative strategy game that rewards communication and long term planning.
