Build a thriving winery in the foothills of Tuscany with Viticulture Essential Edition. Each player begins with a modest vineyard, a few plots of land, a small cellar and a team of workers, then develops the estate into the most successful winemaking business in the region.
Workers and helpful visitors are assigned to seasonal tasks throughout the year. Summer is used to plant vines, build structures and welcome visitors, while winter brings harvesting, winemaking and the filling of valuable orders, with the first worker at an action often receiving an advantage.
Careful timing is essential because the same workers must serve the vineyard across both seasons. The Essential Edition combines the original game with selected material from Tuscany, includes an Automa deck for solo play and supports up to six competing wineries in a detailed worker placement experience.
