Command a fantasy faction and destroy the opposing summoner in Summoner Wars Second Edition. This tactical duelling card game combines ready to play faction decks with movement and positioning on a gridded battlefield, making every unit placement part of the battle plan.
Players summon units beside their gates, spend magic to deploy champions and common fighters, and use events to disrupt the enemy strategy. Attacks are resolved with custom dice, but successful play depends on protecting the summoner, controlling space and creating favourable engagements.
The Master Set contains six complete factions: the Vanguards, Savanna Elves, Polar Dwarves, Cave Goblins, Breakers and Fallen Kingdom. Each approaches the battlefield differently, and the included deck building rules allow units and effects to be customised as the collection expands.
