The Hunters 4th Printing Board Game

The Hunters is a solitaire tactical level game placing you in command of a German U-boat during WWII. Your mission is to destroy as much Allied Shipping and as many Capital ships as possible while advancing your crew quality and increasing your commander rank culminating in special decoration ‒ all while remembering you have to make it home.

Take command of a German U Boat during the opening years of the Second World War in The Hunters Fourth Printing. This solitaire tactical game follows an individual submarine and its crew through patrols conducted between 1939 and 1943.

Choose from eight historically represented U Boat types before receiving assignments across the Atlantic, Mediterranean, Arctic and other operational areas. During each patrol you must locate targets, choose an attack range, decide how many torpedoes to fire and escape the escorts hunting your submarine.

Successful missions can improve crew quality, advance your commanders rank and earn special decorations. Damage, equipment failures, dwindling torpedoes and increasingly effective Allied anti submarine tactics create a continuing campaign in which returning safely is as important as sinking enemy shipping.
