The open world map gives the party control over its route, but every path can bring difficult encounters and costly decisions. Players gather information, weapons and equipment while confronting Hunters, FEDRA forces and the Infected.

Chapter cards drive the unfolding story, while custom dice resolve combat and survival challenges. Resources are limited and injuries can quickly become serious, so the group must discuss risks, share useful items and decide when pressing forward is worth the danger.
