The Plum Island Horror Third Printing Board Game

storm damages the island research laboratory and releases rapidly mutating horrors into the surrounding community.

The cooperative system combines tactical unit management with tower defence as factions protect civilians, hold locations and prevent the creatures from reaching the mainland. Activation cubes drawn from a cloth bag create an uncertain turn order, while Fate and Event cards direct enemy movement and intensify the emergency.

Six playable factions bring different leaders, units, compounds and special strengths to the crisis, encouraging the group to coordinate every activation. The optional Follow action offers valuable extra moves at the risk of triggering new events, creating difficult decisions as the survivors race to complete evacuation and containment objectives.
