Lead an emergency response team trying to prevent an offshore oil spill from becoming an ecological disaster in The Spill. Players sail around the affected coastline, contain spreading oil, remove contamination from the water and rescue threatened marine animals.
A four way dice tower stands at the centre of the board as the damaged DeepWell 4 oil rig. Oil dice dropped into the tower scatter unpredictably across four ocean quadrants, creating a reverse tower defence challenge in which the threat grows at the beginning of every turn.
Specialists contribute asymmetric abilities, while shared Resource cards can be powered by removing oil dice or rescuing complete sets of marine life. The team must complete all objectives on its Win Condition card while preventing any loss condition before the supply of oil dice is exhausted.
