Lead a noble house in mythological Cadmea, build your city with tile placement, and optimize your long-term strategy through unique dice upgrades. No dice rolling, pure skill!

Lead an influential noble family during a dangerous period in the history of ancient Thebes in Thebai. With Oedipus gone and his sons divided by war, the city faces attacks at its seven gates while the once proud citadel of Cadmea lies in need of restoration.

Players rebuild the Cadmea, restore exports, gain the favour of the gods and protect the population while competing for political influence. Citizen and Hoplite dice are placed rather than rolled, allowing them to be developed and promoted as part of a long term strategy.

The game lasts ten rounds divided between Action and Fate phases. Move your Archon through the expanding Cadmea, fulfil contracts and strengthen the city before Fate determines new events and scoring opportunities.
