Tzolkin The Mayan Calendar Board Game

Master the cycles of time in Tzolkin The Mayan Calendar, a strategic worker placement game built around a network of connected gears. Each player leads a Mayan tribe, placing workers into the calendar mechanism and waiting for time itself to carry them towards increasingly valuable actions.

On a turn, players either place one or more workers on the lowest available gear positions or retrieve workers to perform the actions they have reached. Placement costs corn, and stronger spaces generally require patience, but leaving every worker committed means you must eventually bring someone back. Timing is therefore as important as the action you want.

The game ends after one full revolution of the central Tzolkin gear. Players can pursue several paths, including temples, monuments, agriculture and the placement of crystal skulls in deep caves. The physical gears make the changing board easy to read while ensuring that every decision affects the opportunities available on later turns.
