Take on the role of a houseplant enthusiast – collecting and caring for plants as you compete to create the coziest, most verdant home! With variable scoring goals, each game of Verdant brings a new spatial puzzle to your table!

Create a welcoming home filled with thriving houseplants in Verdant. Each player builds an expanding tableau of room and plant cards, arranging them so every plant receives its preferred lighting conditions. Selecting an adjacent card and token pair from the shared display makes each turn accessible, while the placement of that pair shapes the options available to everyone else.

Plants gain verdancy when their light requirements match neighbouring rooms. Nurture items provide additional ways to care for the collection, and fully verdant plants can be potted to earn bonuses. Furniture and pets contribute to the character of each room, while green thumb tokens give players flexible actions that can repair an awkward placement or accelerate a promising plant.

The home itself becomes a spatial puzzle because plant and room cards must alternate within the tableau. Players score for healthy plants, coordinated interiors, collected items and variable goals, so a successful design must balance several priorities rather than maximise a single feature. Solo play and multiplayer competition use the same calm drafting and placement system, with changing goals creating different planning challenges.
