War of the Ring Second Edition Board Game

Decide the fate of Middle Earth in War of the Ring Second Edition. Two to four players command the Free Peoples or the Shadow Armies in a grand strategy game that combines the War of the Ring with the Fellowship's secret journey to destroy the One Ring.

The Shadow player controls immense military power and hunts the Ring bearer while conquering strongholds across the map. The Free Peoples must delay that advance, awaken reluctant nations and guide the Fellowship towards Mount Doom without allowing corruption to claim its members.

Action dice determine which military, political, character and event options are available each round, forcing both sides to adapt their plans. More than two hundred figures, a large two section map and one hundred and ten cards recreate the armies, companions and pivotal events of The Lord of the Rings.
