Become an amateur dracologist and create a sanctuary for dragons in Wyrmspan. Your property contains the beginnings of three cave systems, and your task is to excavate new spaces before enticing dragons of many shapes, sizes and colours to make their homes there.
Cave cards extend the Crimson Cavern, Golden Grotto and Amethyst Abyss, while dragon cards fill those spaces with abilities that can be linked into powerful sequences. Careful planning lets each new resident strengthen the sanctuary and improve the actions available on later turns.
Progress also earns favour with the Dragon Guild and contributes to objectives across the game. Wyrmspan is inspired by mechanisms from Wingspan but is a complete standalone design with its own cave excavation, guild and resource systems and is not compatible with Wingspan.
