Fixer is a competitive trick taking card game where players manipulate money, people, power and media to become the ultimate shadow ruler.

Each suit represents a different pillar of influence, with the regime controlling the capital, the capital funding the media, the media influencing the people, and the people overthrowing the regime. Players place cards into different areas, follow suit where possible, and resolve conflicts once an area has two cards.

The winner of a conflict gains a victory point token and takes the opponent’s card as points, but the losing player can sometimes take the stronger card into their hand. That means clever players may need to lose at the right moment to set up a stronger move later.
