Earn points by fulfilling wildlife goals and creating the largest habitat corridors. With variable scoring goals, each game of Cascadia brings a new spatial puzzle to your table!

Create a balanced Pacific Northwest ecosystem in Cascadia. On every turn, select a paired Habitat tile and Wildlife token from the shared display, add the terrain to your expanding landscape and place the animal into a compatible habitat. The rules are approachable, but each choice affects two connected spatial puzzles that must be managed together throughout the game.

Habitat tiles form growing corridors of forests, rivers, wetlands, prairies and mountains. Larger connected areas can improve your score, particularly when compared with the same habitat in rival landscapes. At the same time, bears, elk, salmon, hawks and foxes must be arranged according to the active Wildlife Scoring cards, which may reward pairs, lines, groups, isolation or relationships with other species.

Nature tokens provide valuable flexibility by allowing a tile and animal pairing to be separated or unwanted wildlife to be refreshed, but the supply is limited. Because different scoring cards can be selected for every species, familiar tiles create new priorities from one game to the next. Dedicated solo challenges and a simplified family scoring variant offer additional ways to explore the landscape beyond the standard competitive game.
