Take command of a First World War biplane and duel a rival pilot for control of the skies. Each combatant draws movement tiles from their aircraft’s bag, secretly selects a manoeuvre behind a player screen and then reveals it simultaneously with their opponent’s choice.

Movement speed, firing opportunities and the option to loop around the flight path must be balanced carefully. Getting behind the opposing aircraft can create the perfect shot, but every manoeuvre also gives your rival information about the tiles still available. A battle lasts for up to three rounds unless one biplane is shot down earlier.

• Simultaneous Manoeuvres: Both pilots select movement tiles behind their screens before revealing and resolving them together
• Blind Tile Draws: Manoeuvre options are drawn from aircraft bags, requiring pilots to adapt their plans to the available tiles
• Nine Biplane Choices: Each aircraft has a different distribution of movement tiles that changes its speed, manoeuvring and firing capabilities
• Positional Aerial Combat: Follow the directional flight path, pass opposing aircraft and use loops to move onto an enemy’s tail
• Shooting Opportunities: Hit icons and coloured board spaces determine when a manoeuvre can damage the opposing biplane
• Three Round Battle: Shoot down the enemy aircraft immediately or finish with fewer hits when the third round ends
• Solo Play Support: A dedicated solo player aid allows one pilot to take on the game without a human opponent
• Advanced Missions: Rescue, espionage, escort and bombing scenarios introduce airfields, objectives, enemy sites and specialised aircraft components
