Compete as royal artisans decorating the walls of the Palace of Evora in Azul. Inspired by Portuguese azulejos, the game challenges each player to select colourful resin tiles from shared Factory Displays and arrange them into organised pattern lines before transferring completed rows to a personal palace wall.

Every draft affects the entire table. Taking one colour sends the remaining tiles towards the central pool, where they may create a valuable opportunity for a rival or leave someone with an awkward surplus. Completed wall placements score according to adjacent tiles, encouraging connected patterns, while unfinished or excess pieces fall to the floor line and reduce the artisan’s score.

Rounds continue until a player completes a horizontal line on the wall. End-game bonuses reward completed rows, columns and colour sets, so short-term drafting must support a coherent long-term layout. Simple turn choices make Azul approachable, yet competition over the common supply creates substantial tactical depth for two to four players.
